The Best Student Life. Bristol SU

Bristol Teaching Awards 2020

Monday 17-02-2020 - 09:00

The Bristol Teaching Awards are back! This is your opportunity to nominate someone at the university who has improved your academic experience, or inspired you!

The Bristol Teaching Awards exist to recognise members of University or SU staff who have made an outstanding contribution to teaching, supervision, or provision of support for students. They could be a lecturer who has made a subject fascinating to you, a supervisor who has been the best supervisor to ever have existed, or an admin staff member who made your university life easier. The most important point is that you use your nomination to recognise and reward the people who have made your experience at Bristol the best that it can be.

Nominations are open until Monday 9 March.

There are nine different awards which students can nominate staff members for:

Inspiring and Innovative Teaching Award

Engaging with Research Award

Interdisciplinary Teaching Award

Championing Personal Development Award - for academic staff

Learning Together Award

Global and Civic Engagement Award

Outstanding Teaching by a Postgraduate Student

Outstanding Support - for professional services staff

Outstanding Supervision

Please bear in mind the criteria stated on the nomination form, as this is how the nominations will be judged.

More information about the awards can be found here.
