It's been another busy two weeks but here are some of the highlights of what we've been up to.
It has been confirmed that University staff who are members of UCU (University and Colleges Union) will take strike action from Wednesday 1 December - Friday 3 December. We are committed to hearing from you and putting the needs of students at the heart of our response. Our position on the strikes can be read in full in this motion. On 23 November, we will discuss this position at Student Council. Please encourage your elected representatives to attend, and represent your voice by discussing and voting on our motion.

Seb and Ruth and a delegation of students were in Glasgow for the COP26 summit. Ruth spoke at a panel event, met other university officers and through protest and marches, they both helped pressure the government to take greater action against the climate threat. Now back in Bristol they’ve finalised the last event of sustainability month.
Join them, staff and other students at the People’s Assembly and discuss climate policy at the University of Bristol.
