Blue Öyster Cult, the American answer to Black Sabbath is coming to the Anson Rooms in Bristol on Thursday 28 February.
Don’t miss your chance to hear classic hits including ‘(Don’t Fear) The Reaper’, ‘Godzilla’ and ‘Burning For You’ with the band’s signature blend of smooth vocal harmonies and dark, foreboding guitar riffs making them one of the most iconic bands of their time.
Whether you’re a hard rock fan or prefer the appeal of popular music, this band have a long repertoire, surpassed only by their four-decade long career. With Buck Sharma providing lead guitar, Eric Bloom providing vocals for dramatic solo sections, BÖC will be playing Bristol’s Anson Rooms as one of eight UK dates, with support from The Temperance Movement, a group that consistently delivers some of the most convincing, compelling and crowd-stirring blues-infused Rock’n’Roll this side of 1979.
Blue Öyster Cult are like no other mainstream rock band of this era, and with no sign of them stopping anytime soon, they remain one of rock’s greatest enigmas.
In a unusual claim to fame, their songs and lyrics provided the structure and narrative for Career of Evil, the third Robert Galbraith murder-mystery novel, written under pseudonym by J. K. Rowling.
Tickets are available online now.
