Welcome back for the final term of the Academic Year. Rumour has it that you’ve missed it here, so let us break down a jam-packed week of fun evenings in the Balloon Bar April 16 – 20^th.

Monday 16 April

BINGO – “HOOOOUSEEE”

The Balloon Bar presents its own unique take on Bingo Lingo. We can’t promise Henry Hoovers. But we can promise Stanford in a gold sparkly blazer and a selection of great prizes. What more could you want?

Time: 8pm

£5 for the evening (8 games) or £1 per game. Pay on the door.

Tuesday 17 April

Put your head phones down, grab a coffee and listen to some LIVE relaxing Acoustic tunes from Harry Strange with Coffee House Sessions.   

Time: 7:30pm

 

Wednesday 18 April

Get on your dancing shoes and forget about your revision blues with a traditional Ceilidh hosted by Folk Soc.

Disclaimer: You’ll be told how to dance to a Ceilidh on the night. (It’s easy to follow don’t worry)

Time: 8pm

Remember to head along to Midweek Markdown first (6-8pm) for £1 chips and half price drinks.

Thursday 19 April

The Bigger, Fatter, RAG Pub Quiz is here for the end of year finale. It’s time to find out which team will be winning the sought-after title of ‘best team’ and the even more sought after jackpot (oooooh).

Cost: £1 per person

 

Friday 20 April

Secretly think you’re the next Adele, or know you can’t hold a note? This is the perfect opportunity to live out your dream of being a singer, no matter what your singer ability is. It’s your time to shine at Bandeoke!

Let us paint the picture. You're standing in front of a microphone, a live band, backing singers and a crowd rooting you on!
