Sport & Student Development: Lucy Matthews

Hi, I'm Lucy (pronouns she/her), your current Sport and Student Development Officer! 

Before taking on this role, I was Club Captain for Women’s Football as well as being on the Sports Network in 2020/21.

I joined the University of Bristol in 2019, and have just completed my undergraduate degree in Criminology. My dissertation looked at the consequences of racial abuse online with reference to English football players, and involved looking into the history of both football and racism.

As your Sport and Student Development Officer, I represent sport societies and student groups and their members who are represented throughout the university community, in the SU and beyond.
