The Sustainability Network is a student-led initiative that brings together students and societies who are passionate about sustainability and aims to develop a strong sustainability community here at Bristol.
The network’s aim is to discuss plans for sustainability campaigns over the year and lobby the university together, as well as being the direct point of contact for sustainability campaigns that are external to the university. By providing a space for people to share ideas and get involved with campaigns and socials, the sustainability network offers a hub for all of the sustainable projects around university to get involved with, as well as help societies and like-minded people get their initiatives off the ground.
We hold fortnightly meetings, which are a chance to meet students and societies with similar interests as you and have your say in sustainability initiatives happening throughout the university. We also have a dedicated online space to share our events and promote collaboration to increase the reach of events.
The Sustainability Network provides a great space for students to shape and develop the Bristol community life and make a positive impact on the sustainability movement. It is a cohesive and supportive space with a unified aim, which provides a platform through which students can effectively feed into and influence the decision-making to help create a more sustainable university as a whole.
