Bristol Teaching Awards Winners 2018

The Bristol Teaching Awards recognise the Outstanding Teaching, Supervision and Support that takes place at the University of Bristol. Students are able to nominate for one member of staff for each of the 4 awards, and this year we had almost 600 nominations from students.

The winners were announced on the 5th June, at the awards night in the Great Hall of the Wills Memorial Building. 

The winners for the student nominated awards were:

Outstanding Teaching
Faculty of Arts – Anna Oliver Barreda
Faculty of Biomedical Sciences – Prof Nigel Savery
Faculty of Engineering – Dr Naim Dahnoun
Faculty of Health Sciences – Andrew Grist
Faculty of Science – Prof Gary Foster
Faculty of SSL – Meg Attwood

Outstanding Teaching by a PG Student
Peter Peasey

Outstanding Support
Dr Ali Mokrane

Outstanding Supervision
Prof John Coggon & Dr Oliver Quick
